As a pioneer in container transport to Eastern Europe, we have continuously strengthened our position in this market since 1980, making us one of the leading providers in Germany for the past thirty years.
With the collapse of the Iron Curtain and the ensuing eastern expansion of the EU, a dynamic market opened up with huge potential for development. In response to our customers' growing demand for reliable and secure transport, we have continuously expanded our fleet for deployment in Eastern Europe.
Today we have over 200 vehicles in constant service on our Eastern European routes, which makes us market leaders in direct trucking between these countries and the German and western seaports.
The biggest role in our East European activity is played by container transport to and from Poland. Our international coverage is rounded off by services to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia as well as Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine.
To ensure a smooth transport process, our staff have all the language skills required as well as the necessary local knowledge.
Our wholly owned subsidiary "KGI Glomb Logistics" Sp. z o.o. in Gdynia provides on site support for our activities in Poland's largest seaport, where we can offer our customers handling services for import and export containers in the internal Polish market. Our range of services in Poland also covers standard transportation requirements such as transshipment or customs clearance.
