Dangerous goods expertise at GLOMB.
GLOMB transports dangerous goods safely, reliably and in accordance with ADR regulations. All shipments are carried out in containers and comply with the provisions of the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. Experienced in-house dangerous goods safety advisers monitor all processes to ensure that all legal requirements are met at all times.
We carry out transport operations for almost all ADR classes, with the exception of classes 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 7. Dangerous goods with an increased risk potential are transported on the basis of a filed security plan in accordance with Chapter 1.10 of the ADR. Our trucks have the necessary ADR approval, our drivers are appropriately trained, hold valid ADR certificates and regularly attend further training courses.
Comprehensive ADR equipment in accordance with Chapter 8.1 of the ADR is available for transport, including fire extinguishers, protective equipment, warning signs and other safety materials. In addition, we use approved container chassis, including ADR tipper chassis. Telematics systems enable the monitoring of routes, driving behaviour and downtime, as well as the digital documentation of all safety-related records.
Our safety organisation includes regular training, annual briefings and internal audit processes to ensure compliance with the GGVSEB. In the event of an incident, established communication procedures are in place. For combined ADR and waste transport, we work with certified waste management companies to ensure that even complex requirements are met safely and in accordance with the law.
