GLOMB handles the safe and legally compliant transport of waste both domestically and abroad. All transports are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Basel Convention and the requirements of Sections 53 and 54 of the German Closed-Loop Recycling Act. We transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste in containers, using our own equipment and trained staff.

Our services include container transport, including shipments subject to notification requirements in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. On request, we also carry out ‘ ’ transport to other neighbouring countries. 20-foot tipper chassis are available for controlled unloading. Furthermore, we work closely with certified waste disposal companies and document all processes in accordance with the KrWG, GGVSEB and ADR.

We ensure safety and quality through regular training, inspected vehicles and experienced dispatchers. By professionally transporting waste for material or energy recovery, we contribute to sustainable resource cycles.

What role does the A-sign play in waste transport?

The A-sign identifies trucks transporting waste as defined by legal requirements. It signals to other road users and authorities that special regulations apply. Our trucks are equipped accordingly and deployed when carrying out waste transport operations for which this marking is required.

Can hazardous waste be transported in a container?

Hazardous waste can be transported in containers provided that both the requirements of waste legislation and those of dangerous goods legislation are met. This includes suitable packaging, documentation and vehicle equipment. We assess each transport individually and ensure that all requirements are met.
